Youth in the Frame – Acting for the Camera

Would you like to collaborate on creating a short film together from concept to screen? Participation is open to all members of Roscommon County Youth Theatre.

Participants will be actively involved in key aspect of the film exploring the tools of film making with Cinematographer Mike Hourigan, Acting Coach Emma Brennan, Drama Specialist Catherine Sheridan

Youth in th Frame - Roscommon County Youth Theatre

Youth In the Frame will include:

  • Creating the Initial Concept of Film

  • Character Creation

  • Story Development

  • Shot Selection & Storyboarding

  • Location Scouting
  • Character Authenticity Techniques for Acting to Camera
  • Script writing
  • Ensemble movement work
  • Insight to Film making & Life on Set

Through this project you will gain confidence and get comfortable in front of the camera, in a safe space and have a ton of fun along the way.
