“The Secret” devised by members of Roscommon County Youth Theatre premières on Culture Night also.
“The place I call Home, Inish Ledge – it’s fairly ordinary really, but it’s all I’ve ever known. It’s where I take refuge from everything life throws at me.
It’s a small place where we all know each other… Well, I mean do we ever really know those even closest to us? Can we ever really count on those around us?”
The Secret – Roscommon County Youth Theatre
Participants were actively involved in key aspects of the film exploring the tools of filmmaking with Cinematographer Mike Hourigan, Acting Coach Emma Brennan and Drama Specialist Catherine Sheridan.
This included the initial concept of film, character creation, story development, scriptwriting, improvisation, shot selection & storyboarding, location scouting, character authenticity, techniques for Acting to Camera and ensemble movement work.
