The curtain is rising on a brand-new year at Roscommon County Youth Theatre — and we’d love you to be part of it!
RCYT is a fun, welcoming place where young people can unleash their imaginations, build confidence, make new friends and bring stories to life. Through lively weekly workshops, members will explore acting, improvisation, movement, storytelling and ensemble work — all while having plenty of fun.
Whether you already love performing or you’re trying theatre for the very first time, there’s a place for you at RCYT. No previous experience is needed — bring your curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm!
The new term begins at Roscommon Arts Centre on Monday, 28 September 2026.
- Juniors, ages 10–13: 4.30–5.30 pm
- Seniors, ages 14–18: 5.45–7.30 pm
Please note that registration in September is for the full RCYT year. This helps us plan our workshops, annual productions and rehearsal schedules, giving everyone a clear picture of the year ahead. By registering, members are committing to attending the scheduled workshops and production rehearsals throughout the year.
Fees are payable in full at registration. However, we understand that paying the full amount in September may not suit every family, so payment can be divided across two terms. To arrange this, please email mfinn@roscommoncoco.ie and copy roscommoncoyt@gmail.com.
