Jérémie Cyr-Cooke, Performer & Movement Director hosts this really special session. Jérémie is a Canadian physical theatre-maker and performer who trained at the Ottawa Theatre School, Canada. In his 6 years in Ireland, Jérémie has quickly become one of Galway’s most exciting physical performers, choreographers and movement directors for the independent theatre and dance communities.
Jérémie has worked with the National Irish Language Theatre (An Taibhdhearc), Fíbín, Galway Music Residency, Brú Theatre, DancePlayers, NUI Galway, No Ropes Theatre, among selected credits. He is also the founder of Cuisle Productions and has successfully produced and self-directed 7 works of physical theatre under his company, including Filaments, eXXcYpt, Blood On The Moon, The Messiness of Human Relationships, Arbitration, Imperceptible, and Embodying Glass. Jérémie is a part-time lecturer at NUI Galway and a recurring guest facilitator with the Roscommon County Youth Theatre.
